Our branch is known as the “Friends of the Franschhoek Indigenous Medicinal and Herb Garden” or Peace Garden. Our indigenous garden, converted from an illegal dump site is at the beginning of Huguenot Street, the main road through the quaint shopping village.
The Peace Garden is now enjoyed by the community and tourists. Visitors can source a variety of indigenous plants and herbs from the nursery at the garden as well as other products which are kept for sale.
If you are concerned about our local natural heritage, join us and support flora conservation and indigenous gardening.
