The Conservation Unit is part of the Botanical Society of South Africa.
Our goal is to contribute to the long-term conservation and sustainable
use of the greater Cape Floristic Region, which covers two internationally
recognised biodiversity hotspots - the Cape Floristic Region and the
Succulent Karoo. We undertake strategic conservation projects, often in
partnership with other organisations, in order to achieve this goal.
We hope you enjoy our website. It is designed to provide you with
